With over 22 years’ experience working in the Luxembourg financial sector, Giovanna Giardina is recognized for her expertise in AML, governance, risk and compliance areas, including outsourcing and internal audit. Giovanna is an Advisory Partner in the Risk Consulting practice at KPMG Luxembourg and focuses on assisting client's internal control functions to achieve their desired level of compliance in the most efficient way. Currently, she is leading the KPMG Asset Servicers & Depositary Cluster focusing on bringing them solutions to support their sustainable development. Giovanna is active member of several professional associations (ILA, IIA, ABBL, ALCO).

Giovanna is a regulatory expert for governance and internal controls for financial entities. She is also a member of the ILA Banking Committee.
