MERTES Sven, TRAXXION

Sven has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and has enjoyed business management training at leading institutes. He is a certified independent director of INSEAD and ILA.

Throughout his career Sven has held executive roles in Europe, Asia and North America within various industries (injection molding, consumer electronics, aviation and logistics). 2007 he and Mark Notschaele founded TrAxxion SA – a no-nonsense management consulting firm with the objective to create impact for the greater region of Luxembourg.

Sven has a solid track record of board assignments within the industry and SMEs. Passionate about corporate governance and sustainability, he advocates good governance is an essential and underestimated leverage for SME’s and family-owned companies. He is a certified B Leader and is looking forward driving the switch towards triple bottom line focus.
