RASMUSSEN Jan Stig

Jan Stig Rasmussen is an ILA Certified Director and Fund Governance Expert, having fulfilled the requirements for the Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD (IDP-C). He holds several Non-Executive Directorships in Denmark, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.

Jan Stig began his career in the financial industry with Nordea Bank in Denmark in 1980 but has been working and residing in Luxembourg since 1987. During this time, he has honed key competencies in the Asset Management sector, particularly in Investment Funds employing various investment strategies. Previously, Jan Stig served as Managing Director and CEO of Sparinvest S.A. from 2005 to 2013 and as Managing Director of Nordea Investment Funds S.A. from 2000 to 2005. He was accountable for developing the Group's international business model at both firms.

Before this, Jan Stig held the position of Executive Director of the Private Banking Department at Nordea Bank S.A. from 1992 to 1999. From 1989 to 1992, he served as Associate Director and oversaw the bank's International Bank Services Department. Between 1987 and 1989, Jan Stig worked as a Credit Officer and Deputy Head of the bank's Credit Department in Luxembourg.
