VAN RENTERGHEM Mehdi, EQT Fund Management SARL

Mehdi Van Renterghem is a Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance, AML/CFT and Complaints handling at EQT Fund Management Sàrl and is a Director within the global EQT Risk, Regulatory and Compliance function. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance frameworks and the implementation of robust AML/CFT controls across EQT’s Luxembourg operations, ensuring adherence to both local and international regulatory requirements.

He joined EQT from CVC, where he played a key role in establishing and structuring the Luxembourg AIFM, gaining significant expertise in regulatory operations and governance. In addition to his current expertise in Private Assets, he also gained expertise in the more traditional UCITS industry through the performance of similar role of Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance and AML/CFT within UCITS asset managers.

Mr. Van Renterghem holds a Master in Business Management from HEC Liège – School of Management of the University of Liège.
