Course outline
The Board of Directors is a place for discussion and debate between directors leading to collegial discussions. Interacting effectively with your peers requires mastering different behavioral qualities, known as soft skills.
Knowing how to adopt the appropriate postures for this very particular type of collegial work is crucial.
Having influence in a Board of Directors meeting requires mastering communication techniques to extract information, challenge constructively and lead with ideas. It also involves the ability to leverage the different expertise and experience from the other Board members.
This course gives the participant a communication
toolkit of what to say, how to say it and when to say it in order to make
incisive contributions to the discussion and move the debate forward.
