This year, the ILA Startup & Scaleup Committee is shaking things up.
Governance does not have to be boring — and it should not be. At the intersection of ambition, chaos, and growth, Startups and Scaleups need Governance that is smart, flexible, and real. Let’s step into the world of Startup Governance — not through a panel, but through a stage.
In this original format, we bring you Governance Theatre: three short, dramatised scenes that reflect the evolving realities of Startup Boards at different stages of growth. Each scene will be introduced by a member of the ILA Startup & Scaleup Committee and brought to life by a mix of Committee Members and real Startup Founders, based on true experiences.
It will be followed by the Governance Fuckups: real stories, real lessons. Seasoned NEDs and Founders will share their Governance moments that tested them, the failures, and the successes and learnings that they helped unlock.
We want to create tension, laughter, awkward moments, and important lessons.
