Course outline
The objective of this module is to understand the key roles, duties and liabilities of Fund and Investment Fund Manager (IFM) Boards as regards the appointment, oversight and interaction with the Fund Administrator and Depositary of investment funds (both UCITS and AIFs) and to provide an understanding of valuation fundamentals and the roles and challenges of the Boards in relation to valuation. In addition, the module covers ancillary services and complaints handling.
This course explores the legal and regulatory aspects and provides participants with good practices and practical advice through case studies. The module is designed to be highly interactive and is delivered by Luxembourg industry experts.
This course is designed for governing bodies aiming to improve their understanding of their roles and responsibilities in appointing and overseeing key service providers involved in the operations of investment funds as well as gaining a better understanding of the topic of valuation.
